This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, carries no advertising, and uses no tracking technology of any kind. Its typefaces are hosted on this same domain, so browsing these pages makes no requests to any third party at all. Nothing you do on this site is recorded, profiled, or sold. A house of masks that does not watch you back.
The commerce boundary
When the shop, books, and art rooms open their buy doors, checkout takes place on the commerce provider's own systems, which are governed by the provider's privacy policy, not this one. The studio never sees or stores your payment details. This policy will name the provider and link their policy the day the first door opens.
Transmissions
The Transmissions release list is run through Buttondown, the studio's newsletter provider. When you enlist, your email address is sent to Buttondown so the studio can send you release news: books, art, relics, and film. The studio never sells or shares your address. How Buttondown handles it is governed by their privacy policy. Every transmission carries an unsubscribe link; leaving takes one click.
Midnight Lexicon Muse
Midnight Lexicon Muse ("the App") is a personal integration that connects the Pinterest Business account of its owner (Midnight Lexicon) to a private AI assistant, so the assistant can help organize boards and publish pins at the owner's direction.
Through the official Pinterest API, authorized by the owner's own OAuth consent, the App can read the owner's boards, pins, and basic account information, and can create boards and pins on the owner's account. The App accesses only the owner's Pinterest account. It does not access, collect, or process any other person's data.
Data is used solely to carry out the owner's instructions. The App does not sell, share, rent, or disclose Pinterest data to any third party, and it does not use Pinterest data for advertising. OAuth tokens are stored in a secure credential vault and used only to authenticate API requests made on the owner's behalf. The owner may revoke the App's access at any time from their Pinterest account settings, which immediately ends all data access.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will replace this document at the same public location.
